Etiquette Expert Takes Message to Europe

Thelma Domenici focuses on manners and volunteerism

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (April 7, 2005) – Thelma Domenici, etiquette expert and national columnist, will present programs on volunteerism and professional etiquette as the Distinguished Speaker for the Annual Conference of American Women’s Activities, Germany (AWAG) being held May 1 -5 in Garmisch, Germany.

Domenici is president of Thelma Domenici & Associates, a contemporary social skills development company that offers programs for children, teens, college students and professionals, and is the expert behind “Ask Thelma,” a weekly etiquette advice column distributed nationally.

The AWAG annual conference gathers more than 250 spouses of armed service members stationed across Europe for training and support in operating volunteer organizations in their military communities.

An active volunteer in New Mexico, Domenici serves on some of the state’s most important boards including the New Mexico Museum Board of Regents, the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Board, the University of New Mexico Foundation Board and the Albuquerque Museum Foundation Board.
